1. About the service
Transcript (scribeconvert.com) is a service for automatic transcription of audio and video into text using speech recognition technology (OpenAI Whisper). By using the service, you agree to these terms.
2. Account
Using the service requires registration (email and password, or Google sign-in). You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may not upload or transcribe material that violates applicable law, infringes third-party copyright, contains adult (pornographic) content, or otherwise violates the rights of third parties. We reserve the right to suspend an account that violates these terms.
4. Pricing and payment
The Free plan provides a limited monthly minutes quota. Paid plans are billed monthly. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all paid subscriptions — Paddle, not Transcript directly, is the seller in the transaction with you.
5. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time on the Billing page in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no partial refund is provided for the unused period unless required by law.
6. Transcription accuracy
Transcription is performed automatically using AI technology and may contain errors, especially for low-quality audio, background noise, or unclear speech. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of the result.
7. Rights to your content
You retain all rights to the files you upload and the resulting text. By uploading a file, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the transcription service.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use or inability to use the service, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
